From simple leaks to the compressor, there are many
reasons your air conditioning system may fail.
Warning Signs You Should Know
Sudden or gradual, a reduction in your vehicle's cooling
capacity is something unlikely to go unnoticed in
summer's heat. To maintain a cool and comfortable ride,
check in with Master Tire & Auto Service when your air
conditioning system is not up to par.
What
Does This Mean?
The Air Conditioning System consists of the same air ducts,
fan, and control panel that the heating system uses,
augmented by a refrigerant system. This system is
composed of the compressor (a pump that circulates the pressurized
refrigerant through the system); a condenser that emits heat
as the refrigerant flows through it, converting gas to liquid;
a receiver/dryer or accumulator which holds the
refrigerant; and orifice tube or expansion valve that controls the
amount of
refrigerant flowing through the system; and the evaporator
core where hot air is cooled before it enters your car.
We Can Help
Our expert technicians can diagnose and repair the
problem with your air conditioning system. We will
perform a visual inspection and may need to perform
tests to detect any leaks or other issues.
We can also convert many older refrigeration systems
to enable the use of modern refrigerant, or install a
new compressor if the conversion cannot be made.
